Overview
Four days that pair Punjab's spiritual heart with the Dhauladhar mountains. Day one is all Amritsar: the Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh and the Wagah border ceremony about 30 km from the city. Then it's up to Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj, with a day trip to Bir for paragliding, monasteries and the Tibetan colony before you head back to Amritsar. It's ideal for a long weekend or as an add-on for travellers flying into Amritsar, and the car and driver are with you from the first evening.
Best for: Long-weekend travellers and visitors flying into Amritsar who want temples, mountains and one adventure day

Frequently asked questions
Do we have to paraglide at Bir?+
No. Bir is worth visiting for its monasteries and Tibetan colony alone; the flight is optional and booked separately.
Can we visit Wagah on the last day instead?+
Yes, if your flight is late enough. The ceremony is in the late afternoon.
Can this be extended to Dalhousie?+
Yes. Our 5-day Dharamshala, Dalhousie & Khajjiar tour covers that, or we can add Dalhousie to this one.
